Rabbit anti-Human Calretinin Polyclonal Antibody | anti-CR antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to Calretinin (CR)
Immunohistochemistry: 5-20 ug/mL;1:50-200
Immunocytochemistry: 5-20 ug/mL;1:50-200
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user.
Store at 4ºC for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20ºC for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37°C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western Blot: Sample: Lane1: Human Serum; Lane2: Porcine Brain Tissue; Lane3: Mouse Brain Tissue; Lane4: Rat Brain Tissue.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an intracellular calcium-binding protein belonging to the troponin C superfamily. Members of this protein family have six EF-hand domains which bind calcium. This protein plays a role in diverse cellular functions, including message targeting and intracellular calcium buffering. It also functions as a modulator of neuronal excitability, and is a diagnostic marker for some human diseases, including Hirschsprung disease and some cancers. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Jun 2010]

Product Notes
The CR calb2 (Catalog #AAA2028731) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Calretinin (CR) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Calretinin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB; IHC; ICC; IP. Western blotting: 0.5-2 ug/mL;1:500-2000 Immunohistochemistry: 5-20 ug/mL;1:50-200 Immunocytochemistry: 5-20 ug/mL;1:50-200 Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CR calb2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Calretinin, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
