NCBI Description

Calcineurin is a calcium-dependent, calmodulin-stimulated protein phosphatase involved in the downstream regulation of dopaminergic signal transduction. Calcineurin is composed of a regulatory subunit and a catalytic subunit. The protein encoded by this gene represents one of the regulatory subunits that has been found for calcineurin. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2011]

Product Notes

The CALNA3 (Catalog #AAA6466551) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The CALNA3, CT (Calmodulin-dependent Calcineurin A Subunit gamma Isoform, Serine/Threonine-protein Phosphatase 2B Catalytic Subunit gamma Isoform, CAM-PRP Catalytic Subunit, Calcineurin, Testis-specific Catalytic Subunit, PPP3CC, CNA3) (HRP) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CALNA3 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). IHC: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 WB: 1:100-1:500 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CALNA3 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CALNA3, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
