Rabbit anti-Human BCKDHA Polyclonal Antibody | anti-BCKDHA antibody
BCKDHA, CT (2-oxoisovalerate Dehydrogenase Subunit alpha, Mitochondrial, Branched-chain alpha-keto Acid Dehydrogenase E1 Component alpha Chain, BCKDH E1-alpha, BCKDE1A) (Biotin)
ELISA: 1:1,000
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Western Blot (WB)
(Western blot analysis of BCKDHA Antibody (C-term) in Jurkat cell line lysates (35ug/lane). BCKDHA (arrow) was detected using the purified Pab.)
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Formalin-fixed and paraffin-embedded human lung carcinoma reacted with BCKDHA Antibody (C-term), which was peroxidase-conjugated to the secondary antibody, followed by DAB staining. This data demonstrates the use of this antibody for immunohistochemistry; clinical relevance has not been evaluated.)
Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS)
(BCKDHA Antibody (C-term) flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells (right histogram) compared to a negative control cell (left histogram).FITC-conjugated goat-anti-rabbit secondary antibodies were used for the analysis.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The branched-chain alpha-keto acid (BCAA) dehydrogenase (BCKD) complex is an innter mitochondrial enzyme complex that catalyzes the second major step in the catabolism of the branched-chain amino acids leucine, isoleucine, and valine. The BCKD complex consists of three catalytic components: a heterotetrameric (alpha2-beta2) branched-chain alpha-keto acid decarboxylase (E1), a dihydrolipoyl transacylase (E2), and a dihydrolipoamide dehydrogenase (E3). This gene encodes the alpha subunit of the decarboxylase (E1) component. Mutations in this gene result in maple syrup urine disease, type IA. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.[provided by RefSeq, Sep 2009]

Product Notes
The BCKDHA bckdha (Catalog #AAA6464989) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The BCKDHA, CT (2-oxoisovalerate Dehydrogenase Subunit alpha, Mitochondrial, Branched-chain alpha-keto Acid Dehydrogenase E1 Component alpha Chain, BCKDH E1-alpha, BCKDE1A) (Biotin) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's BCKDHA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). WB: 1:50-1:100 ELISA: 1:1,000 Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the BCKDHA bckdha for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "BCKDHA, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
