Related Product Information for anti-ARIH1 antibody
The specificity of the ubiquitin degradation system is regulated through interaction between individual ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s) and multiple ubiquitin-protein ligases (E3s). ARIH1/HHARI is an E3 ubiquitin ligase that triggers mitophagy in cancer cells in a PINK1-dependent manner. ARIH1 is widely expressed in cancer cells, notably in breast and lung adenocarcinomas. ARIH1 expression protects against chemotherapy-induced death. ARIH1 enhances cisplatin resistance in normal and melanoma cells. By regulating ARIH1, neurofibromin 2, a tumor suppressor, enhances cisplatin resistance in melanoma but not normal cells.

Uniprot Description

ARIH1: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase, which catalyzes polyubiquitination of target proteins together with ubiquitin- conjugating enzyme E2 UBE2L3. May play a role in protein translation by mediating polyubiquitination of EIF4E2, leading to its subsequent degradation. Belongs to the RBR family. Ariadne subfamily.

Product Notes

The ARIH1 arih1 (Catalog #AAA8102397) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ARIH1 Antibody, Rabbit Polyclonal reacts with Human Predicted to React with: Mouse (Species predicted to react based on 100% sequence homology) and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ARIH1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ARIH1 arih1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ARIH1, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
