Rabbit anti-Mouse Arachidonate-12-Lipoxygenase Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ALOX12B antibody
Polyclonal Antibody to Arachidonate-12-Lipoxygenase, 12R Type (ALOX12B)
Immunocytochemistry in formalin fixed cells: 5-20ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry in formalin fixed frozen section: 5-20ug/ml
Immunohistochemistry in paraffin section: 5-20ug/ml
Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay: 0.05-2ug/ml
Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user
Store at 4 degree C for frequent use.
Aliquot and store at -20 degree C for 12 months.
Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation and precipitation were observed. The loss rate is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an enzyme involved in the conversion of arachidonic acid to 12R-hydroxyeicosatetraenoic acid. Mutations in this gene can prevent the formation of the epidermal permeability barrier and cause an ichthyosiform phenotype. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2015]
Uniprot Description
ALOX12B: Converts arachidonic acid to 12R- hydroperoxyeicosatetraenoic acid (12R-HPETE). Defects in ALOX12B are a cause of non-bullous congenital ichthyosiform erythroderma (NCIE). NCIE is a non- bullous ichthyosis, a skin disorder characterized by abnormal cornification of the epidermis. Most affected individuals are born with a tight, shiny, translucent covering called collodion membrane. The collodion membrane subsequently evolves into generalized scaling and intense redness of the skin. Clinical features are milder than in lamellar ichthyoses and demonstrate a greater variability in the intensity of erythema, size and type of scales. In contrast to lamellar ichthyoses, scales are usually white, fine and powdery, and palms and soles are severely affected. Patients suffer from palmoplantar keratoderma, often with painful fissures, digital contractures, and loss of pulp volume. Belongs to the lipoxygenase family.

The ALOX12B alox12b (Catalog #AAA2034091) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Polyclonal Antibody to Arachidonate-12-Lipoxygenase, 12R Type (ALOX12B) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Arachidonate-12-Lipoxygenase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, WB; ICC; IHC-P; IHC-F; ELISA; IP; IF; FCM. Western blotting: 0.5-2ug/ml Immunocytochemistry in formalin fixed cells: 5-20ug/ml Immunohistochemistry in formalin fixed frozen section: 5-20ug/ml Immunohistochemistry in paraffin section: 5-20ug/ml Enzyme-linked Immunosorbent Assay: 0.05-2ug/ml Optimal working dilutions must be determined by end user . Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ALOX12B alox12b for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Arachidonate-12-Lipoxygenase, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
