Application Notes
The affinity purified antibodies react with IgG 2c in C57BL/6, SJL, C57BL/10, CB20, C57BL/6 by Balb/C crosses and pools of serum of outbred mice obtained from several commercial sources. The anti IgG 2c does not react with L-chains or IgG 2a, IgG 2b, IgG 1 or IgG3. This reagent may also be used where a reagent specific for Igh 1-b allele is indicated. (Reference: J. Immunological Methods 212: 187-192, 1998)

Goats were immunized with highly purified IgG 2c isolated from C57BL/6 mice, in Freund's adjuvant. The antiserum was solid phase absorbed to make it IgG 2c heavy chain specific.

Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "anti-Mouse IgG2c, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage.
