Rabbit ACAD11 Polyclonal Antibody | anti-ACAD11 antibody
Anti-ACAD11 Antibody
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes an acyl-CoA dehydrogenase enzyme with a preference for carbon chain lengths between 20 and 26. Naturally occurring read-through transcription occurs between the upstream gene NPHP3 (nephronophthisis 3 (adolescent)) and this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Aug 2015]
Uniprot Description
Function: Acyl-CoA dehydrogenase, that exhibits maximal activity towards saturated C22-CoA. Ref.6
Catalytic activity: Acyl-CoA + acceptor = 2,3-dehydroacyl-CoA + reduced acceptor.
Cofactor: FAD. Ref.7
Subunit structure: Homodimer. Ref.7
Subcellular location: Peroxisome
By similarity. Mitochondrion. Note: Has been detected associated with mitochondrial membrane, but no matrix, in kidney and cerebellum, as well as in a neuroblastoma cell line, but not in skin fibroblasts, where it is observed in cytoplasmic vesicles (Ref.6). No mitochondrial targeting signals could be predicted for any known isoform, including a putative isoform starting at Met-316. Ref.6
Tissue specificity: Widely expressed with highest levels in brain followed by liver, heart and kidney. Ref.6
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the acyl-CoA dehydrogenase family.
Sequence caution: The sequence BAB14158.1 differs from that shown. Reason: Erroneous initiation. Translation N-terminally extended.

Product Notes
The ACAD11 acad11 (Catalog #AAA8305942) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-ACAD11 Antibody reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's ACAD11 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:500-1:2000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the ACAD11 acad11 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "ACAD11, Polyclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
