Human Phospholipase D1 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase which catalyzes the hydrolysis of phosphatidylcholine in order to yield phosphatidic acid and choline. The enzyme may play a role in signal transduction and subcellular trafficking. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants with both catalytic and regulatory properties. Uniprot Description
PLD1: a phosphatidylcholine-hydrolyzing phospholipase. Activated by ADP-ribosylated Rho and protein kinase C. Implicated as a critical step in numerous cellular pathways including membrane trafficking and the regulation polymorphonuclear leukocyte degranulation and oxidant production. May be involved in the regulation of perinuclear intravesicular membrane traffic. Four splice-variant isoforms have been described.

Product Notes
The Human PLD1 pld1 (Catalog #AAA2880635) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2880635 ELISA Kit recognizes Human PLD1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Phospholipase D1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
