Stability Test: The thermal stability is described by the loss rate of the targetprotein. The loss rate was determined by accelerated thermal degradation test, that is, incubate the protein at 37 degree C for 48h, and no obvious degradation andprecipitation were observed. (Referring from China Biological Products Standard, which was calculated by the Arrhenius equation.) The loss of this protein is lessthan 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
uPAR: Acts as a receptor for urokinase plasminogen activator. Plays a role in localizing and promoting plasmin formation. Mediates the proteolysis-independent signal transduction activation effects of U-PA. It is subject to negative-feedback regulation by U-PA which cleaves it into an inactive form. Monomer (Probable). Interacts with MRC2. Interacts (via the UPAR/Ly6 domains) with SRPX2. Expressed in neurons of the rolandic area of the brain. Expressed in the brain. 3 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.
Protein type: Receptor, misc.; Membrane protein, GPI anchor; Motility/polarity/chemotaxis
Cellular Component: focal adhesion; membrane; integral to plasma membrane; plasma membrane; extracellular region
Molecular Function: protein domain specific binding; protein binding; enzyme binding; U-plasminogen activator receptor activity; receptor binding
Biological Process: mesenchymal cell differentiation; negative regulation of apoptosis

It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Plasminogen Activator, Urokinase Receptor (uPAR), Recombinant Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
