Mouse pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox 1 ELISA Kit | PBX1 elisa kit
Mouse Pre-B-cell leukemia transcription factor 1, PBX1 ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a homeobox protein that belongs to the three-amino-acid loop extension/Pre-B cell leukemia transcription factor (TALE/PBX) family of proteins. The encoded protein is involved in several biological processes during embryogenesis including steroidogenesis, sexual development and the maintenance of hematopoietic stem cells. This protein functions in the development of several organ systems and plays a role in skeletal patterning and programming. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants. Uniprot Description
PBX1: Binds the sequence 5'-ATCAATCAA-3'. Acts as a transcriptional activator of PF4 in complex with MEIS1. Converted into a potent transcriptional activator by the (1;19) translocation. May have a role in steroidogenesis and, subsequently, sexual development and differentiation. Forms a heterodimer with MEIS1 which binds DNA including a cAMP-responsive sequence in CYP17. Also forms heterotrimers with MEIS1 and a number of HOX proteins including HOXA9, HOXD4, HOXD9 and HOXD10. Interacts with PBXIP1. Expressed in all tissues except in cells of the B and T lineage. Belongs to the TALE/PBX homeobox family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Mouse PBX1 pbx1 (Catalog #AAA9334170) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9334170 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse PBX1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "pre-B-cell leukemia homeobox 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
