Related Product Information for PARPBP blocking peptide
Required to suppress inappropriate homologous recombination, thereby playing a central role DNA repair and in the maintenance of genomic stability. Antagonizes homologous recombination by interfering with the formation of the RAD51-DNA homologous recombination structure. Binds single-strand DNA and poly(A) homopolymers. Positively regulate the poly(ADP- ribosyl)ation activity of PARP1; however such function may be indirect.

Uniprot Description

PARPBP: Required to suppress inappropriate homologous recombination, thereby playing a central role DNA repair and in the maintenance of genomic stability. Belongs to the PARI family. 7 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Unknown function

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 12q23.2

Cellular Component: chromatin; nucleoplasm

Molecular Function: protein binding

Product Notes

The PARPBP parpbp (Catalog #AAA9217408) is a Blocking Peptide and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "C12orf48, Blocking Peptide" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
