Mouse Nuclear Receptor Interacting Protein 1 ELISA Kit | NRIP1 elisa kit
Mouse Nuclear Receptor Interacting Protein 1 ELISA Kit
Intended Uses: This NRIP1 ELISA kit is intended for laboratory research use only. The stop solution changes the color from blue to yellow and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm using a spectrophotometer. In order to measure the concentration of NRIP1 in the sample, this NRIP1 ELISA Kit includes a set of calibration standards. The calibration standards are assayed at the same time as the samples and allow the operator to produce a standard curve of Optical Density versus NRIP1 concentration. The concentration of in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
Principle of the Assay: The coated well immunoenzymatic assay for the quantitative measurement of NRIP1 utilizes a multiclonal anti-NRIP1 antibody and an NRIP1-HRP conjugate. The assay sample and buffer are incubated together with NRIP1-HRP conjugate in pre-coated plate for one hour. After the incubation period, the wells are decanted and washed five times. The wells are then incubated with a substrate for HRP enzyme. The product of the enzyme-substrate reaction forms a blue colored complex. Finally, a stop solution is added to stop the reaction, which will then turn the solution yellow. The intensity of color is measured spectrophotometrically at 450nm in a microplate reader. The intensity of the color is inversely proportional to the NRIP1 concentration since NRIP1 from samples and NRIP1-HRP conjugate compete for the anti-NRIP1 antibody binding site. Since the number of sites is limited, as more sites are occupied by NRIP1 from the sample, fewer sites are left to bind NRIP1-HRP conjugate. Standards of known NRIP1 concentrations are run concurrently with the samples being assayed and a standard curve is plotted relating the intensity of the color (Optical Density) to the concentration of NRIP1. The NRIP1 concentration in each sample is interpolated from this standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
Nuclear receptor interacting protein 1 (NRIP1) is a nuclear protein that specifically interacts with the hormone-dependent activation domain AF2 of nuclear receptors. Also known as RIP140, this protein modulates transcriptional activity of the estrogen receptor. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
Uniprot Description
RIP140: Modulates transcriptional activation by steroid receptors such as NR3C1, NR3C2 and ESR1. Also modulates transcriptional repression by nuclear hormone receptors. Interacts with RARA and RXRB homodimers and RARA/RXRB heterodimers in the presence of ligand. Interacts with HDAC1 and HDAC3 via its N-terminal domain. Interacts with NR2C1 (sumoylated form and via the ligand-binding domain); the interaction results in promoting the repressor activity of NR2C1. Interacts with CTBP1, CTBP2, ESR1, HDAC1, HDAC2, HDAC5, HDAC6, NR2C2, NR3C1, NR3C2, YWHAH, JUN and FOS. Found in a complex with both NR3C1 and YWHAH. Interacts with ZNF366.

The Mouse NRIP1 nrip1 (Catalog #AAA727673) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA727673 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse NRIP1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Nuclear Receptor Interacting Protein 1, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
