Guinea Pig Liver X Receptor alpha, LXRalpha ELISA Kit
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
orphan receptor; involved in the stimulation of CYP7A1 transcription [RGD, Feb 2006]
Uniprot Description
LXR-alpha: Orphan receptor. Interaction with RXR shifts RXR from its role as a silent DNA-binding partner to an active ligand- binding subunit in mediating retinoid responses through target genes defined by LXRES. LXRES are DR4-type response elements characterized by direct repeats of two similar hexanuclotide half- sites spaced by four nucleotides. Plays an important role in the regulation of cholesterol homeostasis, regulating cholesterol uptake through MYLIP-dependent ubiquitination of LDLR, VLDLR and LRP8. Belongs to the nuclear hormone receptor family. NR1 subfamily. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The Guinea Pig NR1H3 nr1h3 (Catalog #AAA9311013) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA9311013 ELISA Kit recognizes Guinea Pig NR1H3. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "nuclear receptor subfamily 1, group H, member 3, ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
