RTU ELISA Kit's Advantage
The Ready-To-Use (RTU) Kits require fewer steps in setup and take less time to run. Detection Solutions are pre-diluted and total incubation time is shorter than many other ELISA Kits.
Preparation and Storage
For unopened kits: All the reagents should be kept at 4 degree C upon receipt.
For opened kits: Once the kit is opened, the remaining reagents still need to be stored according to the above storage conditions. In addition, return the unused wells to the foil pouch containing the desiccant pack and reseal along entire edge of zip-seal.

Test Principle: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to RYR1. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific to RYR1. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain RYR1, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of RYR1 in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Uniprot Description

Calcium channel that mediates the release of Ca2+ from the sarcoplasmic reticulum into the cytoplasm and thereby plays a key role in triggering muscle contraction following depolarization of T-tubules (PubMed:18003898, PubMed:7515481, PubMed:7621815, PubMed:21156754). Repeated very high-level exercise increases the open probability of the channel and leads to Ca2+ leaking into the cytoplasm (PubMed:18268335). Can also mediate the release of Ca2+ from intracellular stores in neurons, and may thereby promote prolonged Ca2+ signaling in the brain (PubMed:22036948). Required for normal embryonic development of muscle fibers and skeletal muscle (PubMed:7515481). Required for normal heart morphogenesis, skin development and ossification during embryogenesis (PubMed:18003898, PubMed:7515481).

Product Notes

The Mouse RYR1 ryr1 (Catalog #AAA4502303) is a RTU ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA4502303 RTU ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse RYR1. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Ryanodine Receptor 1, Skeletal (RYR1), RTU ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
