Related Product Information for ANP32B active protein
APRIL is a cytokine that belongs to the TNF superfamily and binds to TACI and BCMA. It is implicated in the regulation of tumor cell growth, is involved in monocyte/macrophage-mediated immunological processes and functions as an important survival factor for plasmablasts and bone marrow plasma cells. APRIL is a high activity construct in which two trimeric APRIL ligands are artificially linked via the collagen domain of ACRP30. This construct very effectively stimulates proliferation B cell. A basic amino acid sequence (QKQKKQ) close to the N-terminus of APRIL is required for binding to negatively charged sulfated glycosaminoglycan side chains of proteoglycans. Proteoglycans mediate binding of APRIL to tumor cells as well as primary lymphoid cells.

Uniprot Description

ANP32B: Multifunctional protein working as a cell cycle progression factor as well as a cell survival factor. Required for the progression from the G1 to the S phase. Anti-apoptotic protein which functions as a caspase-3 inhibitor. Has no phosphatase 2A (PP2A) inhibitor activity. Exhibits histone chaperone properties, stimulating core histones to assemble into a nucleosome. Belongs to the ANP32 family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Protein type: Chaperone

Chromosomal Location of Human Ortholog: 9q22.32

Cellular Component: cytoplasm; nucleolus; nucleus

Molecular Function: histone binding

Biological Process: caspase activation; positive regulation of protein export from nucleus; nucleosome assembly; negative regulation of cell differentiation; vasculature development; ventricular system development; palate development; inner ear development

Product Notes

The ANP32B anp32b (Catalog #AAA636199) is an Active Protein produced from Mouse, HEK 293 cells and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The amino acid sequence is listed below: The extracellu lar domain of mouse APRIL (aa 88-232) is fused at the N-terminus to mouse ACRP30head less (aa 18-110) and a DYKDDDDK-t ag. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "APRIL, Soluble, Active Protein" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
