Mouse IL-1 alpha (Interleukin-1 Alpha) ELISA Kit | IL-1 alpha elisa kit
Mouse IL-1 alpha (Interleukin-1 Alpha) Pre-Coated ELISA Kit
This assay employs an antibody specific for Anti-mouse IL-1 alpha coated on a 96-well plate. Standards and samples are pipetted into the wells and IL-1a present in a sample is bound to the wells by the immobilized antibody. The wells are washed and biotinylated anti-mouse IL-1a antibody is added. After washing away unbound biotinylated antibody, HRP-conjugated streptavidin is pipetted to the wells. The wells are again washed, a TMB substrate solution is added to the wells and color develops in proportion to the amount of IL-1a bound. The Stop Solution changes the color from blue to yellow, and the intensity of the color is measured at 450 nm.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
Produced by activated macrophages, IL-1 stimulates thymocyte proliferation by inducing IL-2 release, B-cell maturation and proliferation, and fibroblast growth factor activity. IL-1 proteins are involved in the inflammatory response, being identified as endogenous pyrogens, and are reported to stimulate the release of prostaglandin and collagenase from synovial cells.

Product Notes
The Mouse IL-1 alpha il1a (Catalog #AAA669359) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA669359 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse IL-1 alpha. AAA Biotech's IL-1 alpha (Interleukin-1 Alpha) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL-1 alpha il1a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "IL-1 alpha (Interleukin-1 Alpha), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
