Preparation and Storage
The stability of kit is determined by the loss rate of activity. The loss rate of this kit is less than 5% within the expiration date under appropriate storage condition.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.

Related Product Information for NNE elisa kit
The test principle applied in this kit is Sandwich enzyme immunoassay. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Enolase, Non Neuronal (NNE). Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody specific to Enolase, Non Neuronal (NNE). Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain Enolase, Non Neuronal (NNE), biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm ± 10nm. The concentration of Enolase, Non Neuronal (NNE) in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

NCBI Description

This gene may represent an evolving pseudogene of the alpha-enolase (enolase 1, alpha non-neuron) gene, which has multiple pseudogenes. This gene has an intact open reading frame as well as strong transcriptional support. The length of encoded protein is conserved, compared to the original enolase 1 protein. The exact function of this gene is unknown. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

Multifunctional enzyme that, as well as its role in glycolysis, plays a part in various processes such as growth control, hypoxia tolerance and allergic responses (). May also function in the intravascular and pericellular fibrinolytic system due to its ability to serve as a receptor and activator of plasminogen on the cell surface of several cell-types such as leukocytes and neurons. Stimulates immunoglobulin production ().

Product Notes

The Mouse NNE eno1 (Catalog #AAA2097959) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2097959 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse NNE. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Enolase, Non Neuronal (NNE), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
