Related Product Information for DPT elisa kit
Intended Uses: The kit is a sandwich enzyme immunoassay for in vitro quantitative measurement of DPT in mouse tissue homogenates, cell lysates and other biological fluids.

Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to DPT. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a biotin-conjugated antibody preparation specific to DPT. Next, Avidin conjugated to Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) is added to each microplate well and incubated. After TMB substrate solution is added, only those wells that contain DPT, biotin-conjugated antibody and enzyme-conjugated Avidin will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of DPT in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.

Uniprot Description

Seems to mediate adhesion by cell surface integrin binding. May serve as a communication link between the dermal fibroblast cell surface and its extracellular matrix environment. Enhances TGFB1 activity (). Inhibits cell proliferation. Accelerates collagen fibril formation, and stabilizes collagen fibrils against low-temperature dissociation.

Product Notes

The Mouse DPT dpt (Catalog #AAA450668) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA450668 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse DPT. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Dermatopontin (DPT), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
