Mouse Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) ELISA Kit | AMH elisa kit
Anti-Anti-Mullerian Hormone Antibody (Anti-AMH) ELISA Kit
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
Principle of the Assay: The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with AMH. Standards or samples are then added to the appropriate microtiter plate wells with a Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated secondary antibody. After TMB substrate solution is added, those wells that contain Anti-AMH will exhibit a change in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of sulphuric acid solution and the color change is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450nm +/- 10nm. The concentration of Anti-AMH in the samples is then determined by comparing the O.D. of the samples to the standard curve.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene is a member of the transforming growth factor-beta superfamily of growth and differentiation factors. The encoded protein is produced in fetal Sertoli cells during male gonadal differentiation. The protein binds to the anti-Mullerian hormone receptor type 2 and causes the regression of Mullerian ducts in developing male embryos. In humans, some mutations in this gene are associated with persistent Mullerian duct syndrome (PMDS). [provided by RefSeq, Apr 2013]
Uniprot Description
Function: This glycoprotein, produced by the Sertoli cells of the testis, causes regression of the Muellerian duct. It is also able to inhibit the growth of tumors derived from tissues of Muellerian duct origin.
Subunit structure: Homodimer; disulfide-linked.
Subcellular location: Secreted
By similarity.
Tissue specificity: Sertoli cells of fetal testes, and testes just after birth, but absent in adult testes. In female, AMH is expressed after birth in the granulosa cells of the follicle. AMH expression is dependent on the degree of follicular maturation and not on the age of the ovary.
Miscellaneous: Although it does not compete with EGF for receptor binding sites, MIS can inhibit the autophosphorylation of the EGF receptor in vitro.
Sequence similarities: Belongs to the TGF-beta family.

Product Notes
The Mouse AMH amh (Catalog #AAA2709333) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2709333 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse AMH. AAA Biotech's Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH) can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for Antibody Detection. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the AMH amh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Anti-Mullerian Hormone (AMH), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
