Related Product Information for ATIIR1 Ab elisa kit
Principle of the Assay: As mentioned above, this kit utilizes the Double Antigen Sandwich ELISA technique. The pre-coated antigen is a related-Mouse ATIIR1 Ab antigen, while the detection antigen is another antigen. Samples are added into ELISA plate wells and washed out with PBS or TBS after their respective additions to the wells. Then Avidin-peroxidase conjugates are added to the wells in after. TMB substrate is used for coloration after the enzyme conjugate has already been thoroughly washed out of the wells by PBS or TBS. TMB reacts to form a blue product from the peroxidase activity, and finally turns to yellow after addition of the stop solution (Color Reagent C). The color intensity and quantity of target analyte in the sample are positively correlated.

Uniprot Description

SCD: Terminal component of the liver microsomal stearyl-CoA desaturase system, that utilizes O(2) and electrons from reduced cytochrome b5 to catalyze the insertion of a double bond into a spectrum of fatty acyl-CoA substrates including palmitoyl-CoA and stearoyl-CoA. Belongs to the fatty acid desaturase family.

Protein type: Lipid Metabolism - unsaturated fatty acid biosynthesis; EC 1.14.19.1; Membrane protein, integral; Membrane protein, multi-pass; Oxidoreductase; Endoplasmic reticulum

Cellular Component: intracellular membrane-bound organelle; membrane; endoplasmic reticulum; integral to membrane; integral to endoplasmic reticulum membrane

Molecular Function: iron ion binding; oxidoreductase activity; oxidoreductase activity, acting on paired donors, with oxidation of a pair of donors resulting in the reduction of molecular oxygen to two molecules of water; stearoyl-CoA 9-desaturase activity

Biological Process: defense response to Gram-positive bacterium; white fat cell differentiation; brown fat cell differentiation; lipid metabolic process; fatty acid metabolic process; fatty acid biosynthetic process

Product Notes

The Mouse ATIIR1 Ab scd1 (Catalog #AAA267223) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA267223 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse ATIIR1 Ab. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Angiotensin II type 1 receptor antibody (ATIIR1 Ab), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
