Mouse Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) ELISA Kit
No significant cross-reactivity or interference between Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP) and analogues was observed.
To minimize extra influence on the performance, operation procedures and lab conditions, especially room temperature, air humidity, incubator temperature should be strictly controlled. It is also strongly suggested that the whole assay is performed by the same operator from the beginning to the end.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the alkaline phosphatase family of proteins. There are at least four distinct but related alkaline phosphatases: intestinal, placental, placental-like, and liver/bone/kidney (tissue non-specific). The first three are located together on chromosome 2, while the tissue non-specific form is located on chromosome 1. The product of this gene is a membrane bound glycosylated enzyme that is not expressed in any particular tissue and is, therefore, referred to as the tissue-nonspecific form of the enzyme. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants, at least one of which encodes a preproprotein that is proteolytically processed to generate the mature enzyme. This enzyme may play a role in bone mineralization. Mutations in this gene have been linked to hypophosphatasia, a disorder that is characterized by hypercalcemia and skeletal defects. Uniprot Description
This isozyme may play a role in skeletal mineralization.

Product Notes
The Mouse ALP alpl (Catalog #AAA2703334) is an ELISA Kit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The AAA2703334 ELISA Kit recognizes Mouse ALP. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Alkaline Phosphatase (ALP), ELISA Kit" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
