Specificity
Lys20p and Lys21p are two isozymes of yeast homocitrate synthase. Their systematic names YDL182W and YDL131W respectively. Lys20p is of molecular size 47.1 kDa and Lys21p is 48.6 kDa; they are ~90% identical at the amino acid level. 31F5 detects both proteins as a closely spaced doublet on immunoblots.

Preparation and Storage
This product is stable for several weeks at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. For extended storage, aliquot contents and freeze at -20 degree C or below. Avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. Expiration date is one (1) year from date of receipt.
