Applicable Applications for anti-VZV antibody
Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP)
Application Notes
Indirect Immunofluorescence
Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
Immunogen
VZV Ellen Strain from VZV-infected monkey kidney cells (BSC-1).
Conjugate
FITC
Special Handling
Light sensitive
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage and to avoid repeated freezing and thawing, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. FITC conjugates are sensitive to light.

Product Notes

The VZV (Catalog #AAA6125508) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Varicella Zoster Virus, gp4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Indirect Immunofluorescence Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the VZV for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Varicella Zoster Virus, gp4, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
