Mouse anti-Human TGFB4 / LEFTY2 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-TGFB4 antibody
Mouse Monoclonal [clone 7C5G1H6H10] (IgG2a,k) to Human TGFB4 / LEFTY2
Usage: Immunohistochemistry: was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary anti...
Immunohistochemistry (IHC)
(Anti-LEFTY2 antibody IHC of human uterus, myometrium. Immunohistochemistry of formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue after heat-induced antigen retrieval. Antibody concentration 10 ug/ml.)
Western Blot (WB)
(Mab anti-Human LEFTY antibody (clone 7C5G1H6H10) is shown to detect by western blot partially purified recombinant 6X His tagged human LEFTY. Detection occurs after 1.0 ug of protein is loaded in each lane. The blot was incubated with a 1:2000 dilution of Mab anti-Human LEFTY at room temperature for 30 min followed by detection using IRDye800 labeled Goat-a-Mouse IgG [H&L] (610-132-121) diluted 1:1000. Lane 1 contains an unrelated 6X His tagged protein and shows that the antibody does not recognize the epitope tag. Lane 2 contains partially purified recombinant human LEFTY. The antibody may be used to detect endogenous human LEFTY. IRDye800 fluorescence image was captured using the Odyssey Infrared Imaging System developed by LI-COR. IRDye is a trademark of LI-COR, Inc. Other detection systems will yield similar results.)

NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes a member of the TGF-beta family of proteins. The encoded protein is secreted and plays a role in left-right asymmetry determination of organ systems during development. The protein may also play a role in endometrial bleeding. Mutations in this gene have been associated with left-right axis malformations, particularly in the heart and lungs. Some types of infertility have been associated with dysregulated expression of this gene in the endometrium. Alternative processing of this protein can yield three different products. This gene is closely linked to both a related family member and a related pseudogene. Alternate splicing of this gene results in multiple transcript variants. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2010]
Uniprot Description
LEFTY2: Required for left-right (L-R) asymmetry determination of organ systems in mammals. May play a role in endometrial bleeding. Defects in LEFTY2 are the cause of left-right axis malformations (LRAM). The defect includes left pulmonary isomerism, with cardiac anomalies characterized by complete atrioventricular canal defect and hypoplastic left ventricle, and interrupted inferior vena cava. Belongs to the TGF-beta family.

The TGFB4 lefty2 (Catalog #AAA245271) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Monoclonal [clone 7C5G1H6H10] (IgG2a,k) to Human TGFB4 / LEFTY2 reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TGFB4 / LEFTY2 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC - Paraffin), Western Blot (WB), ELISA (EIA). ELISA, IHC-P (10 ug/ml), WB Usage: Immunohistochemistry: was validated for use in immunohistochemistry on a panel of 21 formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) human tissues after heat induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary anti.. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TGFB4 lefty2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TGFB4 / LEFTY2, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
