Related Product Information for anti-TCR gamma/delta antibody
T cell receptor (TCR) is a heterodimer consisting of an alpha and a beta chain (TCR alpha/beta) or a gamma and a delta chain (TCR gamma/delta). TCR gamma/delta belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily, involved in the recognition of certain bacterial and tumor antigens bound to MHC class I. The TCR gamma/delta associates with CD3 and is expressed on a T cell subset found in the thymus, the intestinal epithelium, and the peripheral lymphoid tissues and peritoneum. Most gamma/delta T cells are CD4-/CD8-, some are CD8+. T cells expressing the TCR gamma/delta have been shown to play a role in oral tolerance, tumor-associated tolerance, and autoimmune disease. It has been reported that gamma/delta T cells also play a principal role in antigen presentation. Immobilized UC7-13D5 antibody has been reported to activate TCR-gamma/delta-bearing T cells in vitro, and to deplete peripheral TCR-gamma/delta-bearing T cells in vivo.

Product Notes

The TCR gamma/delta (Catalog #AAA2556955) is an Antibody produced from Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Purified Anti-Mouse TCR gamma/delta Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's TCR gamma/delta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunoprecipitation (IP). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TCR gamma/delta for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "TCR gamma/delta, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
