Applicable Applications for anti-SMARCA5 antibody
Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB)
Application Notes
Applications Validated:
ICC/IF: 1:2,000 dilution
Note: Many chromatin-bound proteins are not soluble in a low salt nuclear extract and fractionate to the pellet. Therefore, we recommend a High Salt/Sonication Protocol when preparing nuclear extracts for Western Blot.
Immunogen
This antibody was raised against purified human RSF complex which was used to immunize mice.
Dry Ice Shipment
Extra charge fee may add to your shipping cost as dry ice is required to ship this product.
Preparation and Storage
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles by aliquoting items into single-use fractions for storage at -20 degree C for up to 2 years. Keep all reagents on ice when not in storage.

Related Product Information for anti-SMARCA5 antibody
Short Description: Our SMARCA5 antibody (mAb) was raised in a Mouse host. It has been validated for use in Chromatin Immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry, Immunofluorescence, Immunoprecipitation and Western blot; it has been shown to react with Human and Mouse samples.

Background: SMARCA5 is a human homolog of the budding yeast Snf2 protein. SMARCA5 is the catalytic subunit of several chromatin remodeling complexes, such as CHRAC, RSF, ACF, NuRD and NoRC. SMARCA5 is a member of the SWI/SNF superfamily of proteins and members of this family have helicase and ATPase activities and are thought to regulate transcription of certain genes by altering the chromatin structure around those genes. SMARCA5 is a component of the chromatin remodeling and spacing factor RSF (Rsf1), a facilitator of the transcription of class II genes by RNA pol II. It is similar in sequence to the Drosophila ISWI chromatin remodeling protein. The protein encoded by this gene is a component of the chromatin remodeling and spacing factor RSF, a facilitator of the transcription of class II genes by RNA polymerase II. The encoded protein is similar in sequence to the Drosophila ISWI chromatin remodeling protein.

Product Notes

The SMARCA5 smarca5 (Catalog #AAA388484) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The SMARCA5 antibody (mAb) reacts with Human, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's SMARCA5 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP), Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunoprecipitation (IP), Western Blot (WB). Applications Validated: ICC/IF: 1:2,000 dilution Note: Many chromatin-bound proteins are not soluble in a low salt nuclear extract and fractionate to the pellet. Therefore, we recommend a High Salt/Sonication Protocol when preparing nuclear extracts for Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the SMARCA5 smarca5 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "SMARCA5, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
