Related Product Information for anti-Salmonella Group A, B, and D antibody
Background: Salmonella is recognized as a major pathogen of both animals and humans and is the cause of typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever, and the foodborne illness salmonellosis. In many countries, Salmonella is the leading cause of foodborne outbreaks and infections. The numerous seroptyes of Salmonella are classified based on surface antigens. The O antigen type is determined based on oligosaccharides associated with the lipopolysaccharide component of the outer membrane. Salmonella O antigens can be divided into two major groups: those which have N?acetylglucosamine (GlcNAc) or N?acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) and those which have galactose (Gal) as the first sugar in the O unit.

Product Notes

The Salmonella Group A, B, and D (Catalog #AAA191579) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Salmonella Group A, B, and D O-Antigen Monoclonal Antibodies reacts with Salmonella and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Salmonella Group A, B, and D can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). ELISA: Endusers should determine optimal antibody concentrations relative to their preparations of bacterial cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Salmonella Group A, B, and D for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Salmonella Group A, B, and D, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
