Related Product Information for anti-RAR-beta antibody
Short Description: Our RAR-beta antibody (mAb)(Clone 8B-10B2) was raised in a Mouse host. It has been validated for use in Immunohistochemistry, Supershift and Western blot; it has been shown to react with Human samples.

Background: RAR-b (HAP, NR1B2) is a member of the thyroid-steroid hormone receptor superfamily of nuclear transcriptional regulators. RAR-b localizes to the cytoplasm and to subnuclear compartments. RAR-b binds retinoic acid, the biologically active form of vitamin A which mediates cellular signaling in embryonic morphogenesis, cell growth and differentiation. It is thought that RAR-b limits growth of many cell types by regulating gene expression.

Product Notes

The RAR-beta rarb (Catalog #AAA388727) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The RAR-beta antibody (mAb)(Clone 8B-10B2) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's RAR-beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Electrophoretic Mobility Shift Assay (EMSA), Western Blot (WB). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the RAR-beta rarb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "RAR-beta, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
