Immunohistochemistry (IHC) (Immunohistochemistry Analysis: |Representative lot data. |Paraffin-embedded human normal brain tissue was prepared using heat-induced epitope retrieval in citrate buffer, pH 6.0. Immunostaining was performed using a 1:500 dilution of Anti-PINK1, clone N4/49. Reactivity was detected using the IHC-Select Detection Kit. Staining pattern appears as a granular pattern inside the cytoplasm with extension into apical dendrites.)

Related Product Information for anti-Pink1 antibody
Mutations in the PTEN-induced kinase 1 (PINK1) gene located within the PARK6 locus on chromosome 1p35-p36 have recently been identified in patients with recessive early-onset Parkinson disease. Data suggests that PINK1 may be the second most common causative gene next to parkin in parkinsonism with the recessive mode of inheritance.

Product Notes

The Pink1 (Catalog #AAA609472) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The PTEN-induced Kinase (PINK1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's PTEN-induced Kinase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Suitable for use in Western Blot and Immunohistochemistry. Dilution: Immunohistochemistry: 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Pink1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "PTEN-induced Kinase, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
