Recommended starting dilution is 1:2,000.
Immunogen
Anti-human PCNA mAb is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human PCNA amino acids 1-261 purified from E Coli.
Preparation and Storage
For periods up to 1 month store at 4 degree C, for longer periods of time, store at -20 degree C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
12 months at -20 degree C. 1 month at 4 degree C.
Related Product Information for anti-PCNA antibody
Introduction: PCNA is located in the nucleus and is a cofactor of DNA polymerase delta. PCNA acts as a homotrimer and helps elevate the processivity of leading strand synthesis during DNA replication. In reaction to DNA damage, PCNA is ubiquitinated and takes part in the RAD6-dependent DNA repair pathway. 2 transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for PCNA gene. Pseudogenes of this PCNA gene have been described on chromosome 4 and on the X chromosome. PCNA is expressed during late G1- phase, S-phase of mitosis and persists until the end of the M-phase because of its long biological half-life. PCNA is induced by UV irradiation.

Product Notes

The PCNA pcna (Catalog #AAA140300) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Proliferating Cell Nuclear can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB). PCNA antibody has been tested by ELISA and Western blot analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis is 1:1,000 ~ 3,000. Recommended starting dilution is 1:2,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the PCNA pcna for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Proliferating Cell Nuclear, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
