Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
Uniprot Description
NFH: Neurofilaments usually contain three intermediate filament proteins: L, M, and H which are involved in the maintenance of neuronal caliber. NF-H has an important function in mature axons that is not subserved by the two smaller NF proteins. Belongs to the intermediate filament family. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The NF nefh (Catalog #AAA6122371) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Neurofilament (NF 200kD, NF-200, NF-H, NF) (Biotin) reacts with Chicken, Human, Mouse, Porcine, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Neurofilament can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin. IHC-P: Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissues sections in 10mM sodium citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min. Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the NF nefh for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Neurofilament, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
