Related Product Information for anti-MSGA antibody
MSGA belongs to the intercrine alpha (chemokine CXC) familly. In this family, the first two of the four conserved residues are separated by a single amino acid. MSGA has chemotactic activity for neutrophils and may play a role in inflammation. MSA is secreted and subsequently proteolytically processed at the N-terminus by peripheral blood monocytes to form GRO-alpha(4-73), GRO-alpha(5-73) and GRO-alpha(6-73). In vitro, these processed forms show a 30 fold increase in chemotactic activity. The unprocessed precursor has a length of 107 amino acids and a predicted molecular weight of 11.3KD.

Product Notes

The MSGA (Catalog #AAA605106) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The MSGA (Melanoma growth stimulatory activity, growth-regulated alpha protein, GRO-alpha(1-73), C-X-X motif chemokine 1, neutrophil-activating protein 3, NAP-3, CXCL1) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's MSGA can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA), Western Blot (WB). Suitable for use in ELISA, and Western Blot. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the MSGA for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "MSGA, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
