Hybridoma
Spleen cells from immunized BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the SP2/0 (MARK-1) or PAI-O (MARL-15) mouse myeloma cell line.
Preparation and Storage
May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for at least 6 months at -20 degree C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Related Product Information for anti-Kappa, Lambda Light Chain antibody
Useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single light chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant. Immunoglobulin bearing Kappa light chains are present on about 60% of normal B lymphocytes.

Product Notes

The Kappa, Lambda Light Chain (Catalog #AAA609443) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Kappa, Lambda Light Chain (HCAK1, Ig kappa Chain C Region, IGKC, Immunoglobulin kappa Constant Region, Immunoglobulin kappa Light Chain, Kappa 1 Immunoglobulin Light Chain, Km, MGC111575, MGC62011, MGC72072, MGC88770, MGC88771, MGC88809) (HRP) reacts with Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Kappa, Lambda Light Chain can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EL/EIA). Suitable for use in ELISA. Dilution: ELISA: 0.5ug/ml as detecting antibody Optimal working dilutions to be determined by researcher. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Kappa, Lambda Light Chain for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Kappa, Lambda Light Chain, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
