Related Product Information for anti-IL10RB antibody
The IL-10 receptor consists of two chains, a ligand binding IL-10 Ra (IL-10 R1) chain and a signaling chain known as IL-10 Rb (IL-10 R2).1, 2 The human IL-10 Rb chain is a 325aa protein with 69% homology to its mouse counterpart.3 Stimulation of cells by IL-10 activates both Jak1 and Tyk2 kinases.2 The IL-10 Rb chain is also a component of the recently identified IL-22 receptor.4 Both chains of the IL-10 R are expressed on lymphocytes, monocytes, and neutrophils, with the IL-10 Rb chain expressed at higher levels than the IL-10 Ra chain in most cases.5 IL-10 signaling can affect a variety of immune functions, including inhibition of pro-inflammatory cytokine synthesis and regulation of the growth and function of B cells and antigen-presenting cells.

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the cytokine receptor family. It is an accessory chain essential for the active interleukin 10 receptor complex. Coexpression of this and IL10RA proteins has been shown to be required for IL10-induced signal transduction. This gene and three other interferon receptor genes, IFAR2, IFNAR1, and IFNGR2, form a class II cytokine receptor gene cluster located in a small region on chromosome 21. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

IL10RB: Shared cell surface receptor required for the activation of five class 2 cytokines: IL10, IL22, IL26, IL28, and IL29. Defects in IL10RB are the cause of inflammatory bowel disease type 25 (IBD25). It is a chronic, relapsing inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract with a complex etiology. It is subdivided into Crohn disease and ulcerative colitis phenotypes. Crohn disease may affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from the mouth to the anus, but most frequently it involves the terminal ileum and colon. Bowel inflammation is transmural and discontinuous; it may contain granulomas or be associated with intestinal or perianal fistulas. In contrast, in ulcerative colitis, the inflammation is continuous and limited to rectal and colonic mucosal layers; fistulas and granulomas are not observed. Both diseases include extraintestinal inflammation of the skin, eyes, or joints. Belongs to the type II cytokine receptor family.

Product Notes

The IL10RB il10rb (Catalog #AAA6007282) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Interleukin 10R, beta (IL-10 R-beta, Interleukin 10 Receptor beta, IL-10R2, CD210b, CRF2-4) (APC) reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Interleukin 10R, beta can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IL10RB il10rb for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Interleukin 10R, beta, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
