Uniprot Description
IGHG1: Defects in IGHG1 are a cause of multiple myeloma (MM). MM is a malignant tumor of plasma cells usually arising in the bone marrow and characterized by diffuse involvement of the skeletal system, hyperglobulinemia, Bence-Jones proteinuria and anemia. Complications of multiple myeloma are bone pain, hypercalcemia, renal failure and spinal cord compression. The aberrant antibodies that are produced lead to impaired humoral immunity and patients have a high prevalence of infection. Amyloidosis may develop in some patients. Multiple myeloma is part of a spectrum of diseases ranging from monoclonal gammopathy of unknown significance (MGUS) to plasma cell leukemia. A chromosomal aberration involving IGHG1 is found in multiple myeloma. Translocation t(11;14)(q13;q32) with the IgH locus. Translocation t(11;14)(q13;q32) with CCND1; translocation t(4;14)(p16.3;q32.3) with FGFR3; translocation t(6;14)(p25;q32) with IRF4.

Product Notes
The IgG ighg1 (Catalog #
AAA6123313) is a Secondary Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The IgG (Immunoglobulin Gamma Heavy Chain, G1m Marker, G2m Marker, G3m Marker, G4m Marker, HDC, Heavy Chain Disease Protein, Human Immunglobulin G, Ig gamma1/2/3/4 Chain C Region, IGHG1, IGHG2, IGHG3, IGHG4, Immunoglobulin Heavy Constant 1/2/3/4) (APC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's IgG can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS), FLISA, Immunofluorescence (IF), Immunohistochemistry (IHC). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the IgG ighg1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process.
It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of
"IgG, Monoclonal Secondary Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of
the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always
suggest centrifuging these vials
to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to
opening. Please be advised that
certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an
additional dry ice fee may also be
required.
