The infection with certain types of HPV, s the so called oncogenic HPV’S including 16,18,31,33 and 35, has been associated as a major risk factor in the subsequent development of cervical cancer. The high risk HPV 16 group is almost equally associated with the cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer. HPV 6 and 11 are found mainly in bening cervical lesions while HPV and 18 have been associated with premalignant and malignant cervical lessions. The presence of HPV has been reported in malignant lesions of skin, oral, cavity, tongue and lung. Product Notes

The HPV 16 (Catalog #AAA460234) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse anti HPV 16 Monoclonal Antibody reacts with Virus, Type 16 and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HPV 16 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, IHC(P), IF. Western Blot 0.1-1 ug/mL ELISA 0.01-0.1 ug/mL Immunoprecipitation 2-5 ug/mL IHC 2-5 ug/mL Flow Cytometry Not tested . Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HPV 16 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HPV 16, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
