Specificity
This antibody recognises hypoxia-inducible factor 1 alpha (HIF-1 alpha). Induction of the Hif regulated genes, as a consequence of the microenvironment or genetic changes, is known to have an important role in the growth of experimental tumours. HIF1A has been observed in varying subsets of tumour cells from various solid tumours.

Purified on protein A from tissue culture supernatant.
Form/Format
Purified IgG conjugated to Fluorescein, supplied in Phosphate buffered saline (PBS) containing 0.09% Sodium azide
Concentration
1mg/ml (varies by lot)
Applicable Applications for anti-HIF-1 alpha antibody
Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF)
Application Notes
Optimal antibody dilution should be determined by titration
Target Antigen
HIF-1 alpha
Immunogen
GST-human HIF-1A amino acids 329-530 fusion protein
Myeloma/fusion Partners
Cells from immunized Balb/c mice were fused with the NS1 myeloma cell line

Product Notes

The HIF-1 alpha (Catalog #AAA375368) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse anti HIF-1 alpha [ESEE122]: Fluorescein reacts with Mouse, Rat, Cow, Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's HIF-1 alpha can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunocytochemistry (ICC), Immunofluorescence (IF). Optimal antibody dilution should be determined by titration. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the HIF-1 alpha for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "HIF-1 alpha, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
