Mouse GTF3A Monoclonal Antibody | anti-GTF3A antibody
GTF3A (General Transcription Factor IIIA, AP2, TFIIIA) (AP)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The product of this gene is a zinc finger protein with nine Cis[2]-His[2] zinc finger domains. It functions as an RNA polymerase III transcription factor to induce transcription of the 5S rRNA genes. The protein binds to a 50 bp internal promoter in the 5S genes called the internal control region (ICR), and nucleates formation of a stable preinitiation complex. This complex recruits the TFIIIC and TFIIIB transcription factors and RNA polymerase III to form the complete transcription complex. The protein is thought to be translated using a non-AUG translation initiation site in mammals based on sequence analysis, protein homology, and the size of the purified protein. Uniprot Description
GTF3A: Interacts with the internal control region (ICR) of approximately 50 bases within the 5S RNA genes, is required for correct transcription of these genes by RNA polymerase III. Also binds the transcribed 5S RNA's. May initiate transcription of the 5S ribosomal RNA gene and maintain the stability of transcription of other genes. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The GTF3A gtf3a (Catalog #AAA6163478) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's GTF3A can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GTF3A gtf3a for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GTF3A, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
