**ELISA is an indirect assay against human GnRH on the solid phase. Titers represent endpoint dilutions that achieve absorbance values >= 0.1.)
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
The protein encoded by this gene is secreted and then cleaved to form the 10 aa luteinizing hormone-releasing hormone (LHRH), also known as gonadoliberin-1, and prolactin release-inhibiting factor, also known as GnRH-associated peptide 1. LHRH stimulates the release of luteinizing and follicle stimulating hormones, which are important for reproduction. Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq]
Uniprot Description

Product Notes
The GNRH1 gnrh1 (Catalog #AAA190177) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA, Immunohistochemistry. These antibodies may be used in ELISA, immunohistochemistry and RIA to detect and quantitate GnRH. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GNRH1 gnrh1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Gonadotropin Releasing Hormone, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
