Related Product Information for anti-GOLGA1 antibody
The Golgi apparatus, which participates in glycosylation and transport of proteins and lipids in the secretory pathway, consists of a series of stacked cisternae (flattened membrane sacs). Interactions between the Golgi and microtubules are thought to be important for the reorganization of the Golgi after it fragments during mitosis. This gene encodes one of the golgins, a family of proteins localized to the Golgi. This encoded protein is associated with Sjogren's syndrome. [provided by RefSeq, Feb 2010]
Involved in vesicular trafficking at the Golgi apparatus level. Involved in endosome-to-Golgi trafficking.

Product Notes

The GOLGA1 golga1 (Catalog #AAA4752780) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Golgin 97 Rabbit mAb reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's Golgin 97 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:2000-1:10,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GOLGA1 golga1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Golgin 97, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
