Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis and Immunofluorescence is 1:250 ~ 500. Recommended starting dilution is 1:500.
Immunogen
Anti-human GPC4 mAb, is derived from hybridization of mouse F0 myeloma cells with spleen cells from BALB/c mice immunized with recombinant human GPC4 amino acids 401-529 purified from E Coli.
Preparation and Storage
For periods up to 1 month store at 4 degree C, for longer periods of time, store at -20 degree C. Prevent freeze thaw cycles.
12 months at -20 degree C. 1 month at 4 degree C.
Related Product Information for anti-GPC4 antibody
Introduction: The glypican family of cell surface heparan sulfate proteoglycans is expressed in a tissue specific and developmentally regulated manner. The glypican 4 expression is seen in the mouse brain at embryonic day 10 and later stages and low during early tubule formation but is up-regulated in mature tubules. Hence it is not detected in the midline of the embryo at the stage of intiation of neural tube closure, signifying that glypican-4 is unlikely to play a critical role in convergent extension in the mouse.

Product Notes

The GPC4 gpc4 (Catalog #AAA140356) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's Glypican-4 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA), Western Blot (WB), Immunofluorescence (IF). GPC4 antibody has been tested by ELISA, Western blot and Immunofluorescence analysis to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results. Recommended dilution range for Western blot analysis and Immunofluorescence is 1:250 ~ 500. Recommended starting dilution is 1:500. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GPC4 gpc4 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "Glypican-4, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
