Rabbit GFPT1 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-GFPT1 antibody
GFPT1 Rabbit mAb
IHC: 1:20-1:100
IP: 1:20-1:50
Controls the flux of glucose into the hexosamine pathway. Most likely involved in regulating the availability of precursors for N- and O-linked glycosylation of proteins. Regulates the circadian expression of clock genes ARNTL/BMAL1 and CRY1.
NCBI and Uniprot Product Information
NCBI Description
This gene encodes the first and rate-limiting enzyme of the hexosamine pathway and controls the flux of glucose into the hexosamine pathway. The product of this gene catalyzes the formation of glucosamine 6-phosphate. [provided by RefSeq, Sep 2008]
Uniprot Description
GFAT: Controls the flux of glucose into the hexosamine pathway. Most likely involved in regulating the availability of precursors for N- and O-linked glycosylation of proteins. Homotetramer (Potential). Isoform 1 is predominantly expressed in skeletal muscle. Not expressed in brain. Seems to be selectively expressed in striated muscle. 2 isoforms of the human protein are produced by alternative splicing.

Product Notes
The GFPT1 gfpt1 (Catalog #AAA4752767) is an Antibody produced from Rabbit and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The GFPT1 Rabbit mAb reacts with Human, Mouse, Rat and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's GFPT1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC), Immunoprecipitation (IP). WB: 1:1000-1:5000 IHC: 1:20-1:100 IP: 1:20-1:50. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the GFPT1 gfpt1 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "GFPT1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
