Related Product Information for anti-TUBGCP2 antibody
Gamma tubulin complex component 2 (GCP2) is 95-103 kDa protein which associates with two molecules of gamma tubulin and one molecule of gamma tubulin complex component 3 (GCP3), to form the gamma tubulin small complexes (gammaTuSCs). These complexes interact with GCP4, 5, and 6 to form the gamma tubulin ring complexes (gammaTuRCs), which are embedded in the microtubule organizing center matrix where they nucleate microtubules. The gammaTuRCs are also involved in the regulation of microtubule plus and minus end dynamics. Components of gamma tubulin complexes are highly conservative in eukaryotes.

Product Notes

The TUBGCP2 tubgcp2 (Catalog #AAA1800638) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-gamma-Tubulin GCP2 Purified reacts with Rat, Mouse, Pig, Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's gamma-Tubulin can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot (WB), Immunohistochemistry (IHC) Paraffin, Immunocytochemistry (ICC). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the TUBGCP2 tubgcp2 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "gamma-Tubulin, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
