Related Product Information for anti-FH antibody
Fumarase (FH) is an enzyme that catalyzes the reversible hydration/dehydration of fumarate to malate. Fumarase comes in two forms: mitochondrial and cytosolic. The mitochondrial isoenzyme is involved in the Krebs Cycle (also known as the Tricarboxylic Acid Cycle [TCA] or the Citric Acid Cycle), and the cytosolic isoenzyme is involved in the metabolism of amino acids and fumarate. Subcellular localization is established by the presence of a signal sequence on the amino terminus in the mitochondrial form, while subcellular localization in the cytosolic form is established by the absence of the signal sequence found in the mitochondrial variety.

Product Notes

The FH (Catalog #AAA8505095) is an Antibody and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The FH/Fumarase Mouse Monoclonal Antibody (2B11) reacts with Human, Rat, Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's FH/Fumarase can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Western Blot (WB). WB: 1:1,000-3,000. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the FH for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "FH/Fumarase, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
