NCBI Description

This gene is a member of the J protein family. J proteins function in many cellular processes by regulating the ATPase activity of 70 kDa heat shock proteins. This gene is a member of the type 2 subgroup of DnaJ proteins. The encoded protein is localized to the endoplasmic reticulum. This protein is induced by endoplasmic reticulum stress and plays a role in protecting stressed cells from apoptosis. [provided by RefSeq, Dec 2010]

Product Notes

The DNAJB9 dnajb9 (Catalog #AAA6146883) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The DNAJB9 (MDG1, DnaJ Homolog Subfamily B Member 9, Microvascular Endothelial Differentiation Gene 1 Protein, DKFZp564F1862) (FITC) reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's DNAJB9 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, ELISA (EIA). Applications are based on unconjugated antibody. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the DNAJB9 dnajb9 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "DNAJB9, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
