Flow Cytometry; Immunocytochemistry; Immunohistochemistry (Acetone Fixed/Frozen Sections)
Application Notes
Research Application(s): In vitro T cell activation
Induction of apoptosis

Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 1 ug/10^6 cells
Characterization
To ensure lot-to-lot consistency, each batch of monoclonal antibody is tested by flow cytometry to conform to characteristics of a standard reference reagent. Representative data are included in this product insert.
Preparation and Storage
The purified (UNLB) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg of purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of 100 mM borate buffered saline, pH 8.2. No preservatives or amine-containing buffer salts added. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The fluorescein (FITC) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg or 0.1mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The biotin (BIOT) conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3. Store at 2-8 degree C.
The R-phycoerythrin (R-PE) and allophycocyanin (APC) conjugates are supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze!
The Spectral Red (SPRD) conjugate is supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent. Store at 2-8 degree C. Do not freeze!
The low endotoxin, azide-free (LE/AF) antibody is supplied as 0.5 mg purified immunoglobulin in 1.0 mL of PBS. Aliquot and store at or below -20 degree C.
With the exception of the low endotoxin, azide-free product, the vials should be stored at 2-8 degree C. Conjugated forms should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. Aliquot and freeze the low endotoxin, azide-free product at -20 degree C immediately upon receipt. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.

Product Notes

The THY1 cd90 (Catalog #AAA673462) is an Antibody produced from Rat and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Rat Anti-Mouse CD90/Thy-1-FITC reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD90/Thy-1 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Immunocytochemistry; Immunohistochemistry (Acetone Fixed/Frozen Sections). Research Application(s): In vitro T cell activation Induction of apoptosis Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 1 ug/10^6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the THY1 cd90 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD90/Thy-1, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
