Related Product Information for anti-CD70 antibody
Mouse anti Human CD70 antibody, clone Bu69 recognises human CD70, also known as CD27 ligand (CD27-L) or Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 7. CD70 is a 193 amino acid ~29kDa single pass type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the tumour necrosis factor (TNF) family (UniProt: P32970). CD70 is expressed on a small number of activated T-cells and the majority of activated B-cells (Bowman et al. 1994). Interaction of CD70 with its receptor, CD27, is thought to play an important role in lymphocyte activation, proliferation, survival and differentiation (Hintzen et al. 1994). Mouse anti Human CD70 antibody, clone Bu69 has been used for the inhibition of neural stem cell induced apoptosis of allogeneic T cells in vitro (Lee et al. 2013).

NCBI Description

The protein encoded by this gene is a cytokine that belongs to the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) ligand family. This cytokine is a ligand for TNFRSF27/CD27. It is a surface antigen on activated, but not on resting, T and B lymphocytes. It induces proliferation of costimulated T cells, enhances the generation of cytolytic T cells, and contributes to T cell activation. This cytokine is also reported to play a role in regulating B-cell activation, cytotoxic function of natural killer cells, and immunoglobulin sythesis. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Uniprot Description

CD70: Cytokine that binds to CD27. Plays a role in T-cell activation. Induces the proliferation of costimulated T-cells and enhances the generation of cytolytic T-cells. Belongs to the tumor necrosis factor family.

Product Notes

The CD70 cd70 (Catalog #AAA215192) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. AAA Biotech's CD70 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunohistology Frozen, Flow cytometry (FC/FACS). Flow Cytometry: Use 10ul of the suggested working dilution to label 106 cells in 100ul. Flow Cytometry: Minimum Dilution: 1/50; Maximum Dilution: 1/200. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD70 cd70 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD70, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
