Related Product Information for anti-CD48 antibody
CD48 is a 45 kD GPI-anchored glycoprotein also known as BCM1, Blast-1 (human), and OX-45 (rat). It is a member of the Ig superfamily, expressed on T and B cells and monocytes/macrophages. It plays a role in adhesion and T cell recognition. The primary ligands for CD48 are CD2 and CD244.

Product Notes

The CD48 cd48 (Catalog #AAA2558126) is an Antibody produced from Armenian Hamster and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-Mouse CD48 Monoclonal Antibody (PerCP Conjugated) [HM48-1] reacts with Mouse and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD48 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Each lot of this antibody is quality control tested by immunofluorescent staining with flow cytometric analysis. For flow cytometric staining, the suggested use of this reagent is <= 2 ug per 106 cells in 100 ul volume or 100 ul of whole blood. It is recommended that the reagent be titrated for optimal performance for each application. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD48 cd48 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD48, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
