Mouse anti-Chicken CD28 Monoclonal Antibody | anti-Cd28 antibody
Mouse Anti-Chicken CD28-PE
Chicken CD28 antigen is a type I transmembrane monomeric glycoprotein which does not contain the cysteine residues that form disulfide-linked covalent homodimers found in the mammalian counterpart. This may reduce the avidity of binding to individual ligand molecules expected to be present on Ag presenting cells. Peripheral gamma delta + T cells are CD28-negative.1 Monoclonal antibodies against CD28 have a costimulatory effect on T cells stimulated by phorbol myristate acetate (PMA), concanavalin A or MAbs against the avian T cell receptor (TCR). Both V beta 1- and V beta 2-expressing cells respond equally well to stimulation with anti-CD28 in combination with PMA. These responses are resistant to cyclosporin A, but inhibited by herbimycin A, suggesting that CD28 employs a signalling pathway at least partly distinct from that triggered by TCR/CD3.2 MAb AV7 also reacts with turkey CD28 as demonstrated by flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation/Western blotting.3

The FITC conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of phosphate buffered saline, pH 7.4, containing 0.1% sodium azide as preservative (PBS/NaN3); store at 2-8 degree C.
The BIOT conjugate is supplied as 0.5 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3; store at 2-8 degree C.
The R-PE conjugate is supplied as 0.1 mg in 1.0 mL of PBS/NaN3 and a stabilizing agent; store at 2-8 degree C.
All products should be stored at 2-8 degree C. Conjugated forms should not be frozen and should be protected from prolonged exposure to light. Each reagent is stable for the period shown on the bottle label if stored as directed.

Product Notes
The Cd28 (Catalog #AAA673895) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Mouse Anti-Chicken CD28-PE reacts with Chicken and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD28 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Flow Cytometry; Immunoprecipitation. Research Application(s): In vitro T-cell costimulation Flow Cytometry Suggested Dilution: <= 0.2 ug/10^6 cells. Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the Cd28 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD28, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.Precautions
