Related Product Information for anti-CD20 antibody
The CD20 is a B lymphocyte specific cell surface phosphoprotein with molecular weight of 35 or 37 kDa, depending on the degree of phosphorylation. CD20 is not glycosylated. CD20 is present on both resting and activated B lymphocytes (except plasma cells) and it is expressed synchronous with the expression of surface IgM. Low-level expression of the CD20 has been detected on a subpopulation of T lymphocytes. CD20 is found in secondary follicles of lymphoid tissue and can be expressed on follicular dendritic cells (FDC). The CD20 is a store-operated channel with a tetraspanning membrane topology and upon activation mediates an influx of Ca++ across the plasma membrane-evidence suggests CD20 functions as a B cell Ca++ channel subunit. CD20 regulates signal transduction, cell communication, and B cell activation and proliferation by regulating transmembrane Ca++ transport.

Product Notes

The CD20 (Catalog #AAA4158814) is an Antibody produced from Mouse and is intended for research purposes only. The product is available for immediate purchase. The Anti-CD20 (Azide-Free) Antibody reacts with Human and may cross-react with other species as described in the data sheet. AAA Biotech's CD20 can be used in a range of immunoassay formats including, but not limited to, Immunoprecipitation (IP), Flow Cytometry (FC/FACS). Researchers should empirically determine the suitability of the CD20 for an application not listed in the data sheet. Researchers commonly develop new applications and it is an integral, important part of the investigative research process. It is sometimes possible for the material contained within the vial of "CD20, Monoclonal Antibody" to become dispersed throughout the inside of the vial, particularly around the seal of said vial, during shipment and storage. We always suggest centrifuging these vials to consolidate all of the liquid away from the lid and to the bottom of the vial prior to opening. Please be advised that certain products may require dry ice for shipping and that, if this is the case, an additional dry ice fee may also be required.
